Strategies for Success program: Library and Technology Lab open for student and family use, Wednesdays from 6pm to 8pm. Teachers, staff and community volunteers are available for homework and technology help. Light dinner served in the library.

MIDDLE SCHOOL SPORTS

Madrona is proud to offer middle school sports in boys & girls basketball (winter), girls soccer (fall), boys soccer (spring) coed ultimate frisbee (fall), girls volleyball (winter), boys & girls track and field (spring).

Our student athletes must meet certain academic and citizenship requirements in order to participate. Madrona is the proud defending city champions in boys basketball (2009) and coed ultimate frisbee (2009). Two of our recent graduates are now playing as freshman for Garfield High’s basketball team. ELEMENTARY SPORTS 

While Seattle schools do not offer elementary sports teams, many Madrona students are active participants in Rotary basketball, local soccer clubs, and Seattle Central Little League (baseball and softball).   The physical education program offers a variety a sports and exercise programs for all students throughout the year.
