On September 9th, students received three surprise visitors: School Board President Betty Patu, Superintendent Larry Nyland, and US Senator Patty Murray. Principal McDaniel and Vice Principal Cross showed Senator Murray our classrooms, where Senator Murray read to some students.

Marcia is a published author and specializes in human development, intercultural communications and globalism with emphasis on developing cultural competency)

Teams carry water for 5 km in support of communities that need clean water. Carry as much water as you’re able, or just join us for the walk. All ages welcome!
So far, more than 200 individuals & teams have raised $38,000 with personal fundraising pages, lemonade stands, and by asking friends, family, and co-workers for support! Read what some kids, companies, and schools are doing for the cause.
If you or your team raises $5,000, you can have a personalized plaque at a community water point.
